This week's chillier-than-normal weather makes me want to remind everyone that it is indeed still spring. Jason and I went to Duke Gardens a few weeks ago on another chilly morning. The flowers may have been in full bloom, but I was taking photos of them while wearing gloves, jackets, and multiple layers. Worth the numb fingertips and noses? You betcha.

Touring the Triangle -- Yates Mill
Last weekend, Jason and I ventured to a new photo destination for us -- Yates Mill. It was a beautiful fall day, but suuuuuuuper cold when we got there at 8:00! I had on my running tights, jeans, knee-high socks, several shirts, my NC State hoodie (had to on State vs. Carolina day!), gloves, and a toboggan. All that, and I was still freezing the whole time.
The sights were totally worth the cold. I haven't edited any of my pictures, but here are some of my favorites from Jason.
I couldn't decide which picture I liked better, blurry window/clear reflection...
or clear window/blurry reflection.
And possibly my favorite...

Touring the Triangle
Last month, when Jason and I toured Larry's Beans (see previous post here), we decided to walk around downtown Raleigh. I have to confess, I don't get really inspired downtown. Sure, I love the museums, but that's about it. Here are a few pictures that I did find to take.
Raleigh Memorial Auditorium (or whatever it is called these days)
Sculpture at City Plaza
New murals covering the eyesore of a parking deck
