We're the Red and White from State, and We Know we are the Best...

As a peace offering for making Jason work the past two weekends, his boss offered him four free tickets to Saturday's basketball game.  I haven't been to a State game since about 2004, so I was really excited!  The only thing better than a State game is a FREE State game!

Parking was $10, but when we got up to the parking attendant, it turns out that students park for free.  Well guess who still has an NC State student ID?  *points to myself*  This girl!  Free tickets AND free parking?  Score!

I mentioned earlier that Jason had been given four tickets, but he got them so last-minute that we didn't get a chance to find people to go with us.  Oh well.  We ended up selling our tickets outside the RBC Center for $30 to someone outside the stadium.

The game started at 1:00, so we got there and treated ourselves to some lunch.  Two Italian sausages and two sodas set us back $22 (gotta love insane ballgame prices).  But wait... didn't we get $30 for our tickets?  Free lunch AND $8 to spare?  Heck yeah!

Ok, enough about our free fun (just had to brag about that part a bit), we had  a GREAT time at the game!  Here's some pictures...

I love the giant bricks, pinwheels, and celebrity heads, all to distract the opposing team during free throws.  Can you find Mr. Bean?  Voldemort?  Bald Britney?  Zach Galifianakis?

The Game:

State played really well!  C.J. Leslie had a bunch of great dunks.  Scott Wood kept getting 3s, even when the defenders fouled him.
